Tbey say they're not professional painters. No problem. However, they should learn and have some basic painting knowledge and skills. Startin by painting  the ceilings and then the walls. Because the paint splatters and falls off on the walls. The walls don't paint the ceilings, paint the floors. So, startin by painting the walls is not logical. Unless there are other materials and expenses in mind for the ceilings?
